Who will you share this good news with today?

It is literally the greatest gift God can give, and the greatest thing we could share, to those who don’t know.  Let me know how it goes for you today.

Will you be too busy, will you be too afraid, or will you be bold, filled with the Holy Spirit?  I will be praying  for us all today.  May the seeds be sown and the harvest be plentiful.

Blessings

Alan

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

What is your experience with this promise? My wife and I have been blessed many times over by this promise, both of our time and money.  Any thoughts or questions?

Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure-pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”

Especially this time of year, May our light shine to a world that is more stressed than joyful.  May it be, that just as God’s glory shone on Moses face, and pointed back to God, our light would point to the wonder of why the beautiful gift of baby Jesus, was all about.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;

Don’t miss the point.  It’s not about our good deeds, but about how good the Father is, that we do it.  Our good deeds should not point to us, but to Our Father in heaven, who motivates our hearts to do those good deeds.

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Here is a gut check, on your Love of God, and love of people.  Always remember, God made ALL men in the image of God!  All, need to be reconciled to God.  We were all once lost, until we were found!  Can I get an Amen?

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

Christian = suffering, but with great joy(JAS 1:2). The race is on.  We are in a life long race of endurance, embracing the trials, enduring the sufferings, rejoicing in the victories.  All the while holding tight to the finish line where we will receive the crown.  The reward of a faithful servant, the perfect life where everything will be changed, including ourselves.  Thank you Jesus.  Bring on what comes my way today.  Whether in good or bad times, May I say, blessed be the Name of the Lord. Amen!!

And He summoned the crowd with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.

Godliness = Blameless…Sin = Evil.  How do you reconcile the two?  If you don’t know the answer, ask me.  I will tell you what the answer is.

Righteousness guards the one whose way is blameless, But wickedness subverts the sinner.
Proverbs 13:6 NASB

Are you going through the motions with God…….Don’t think he doesn’t know.   He desires relationship and devotion, but hypocrisy he will deal with.   Read the rest of the chapter to see.  May we humble ourselves before you LORD.  You are a gracious God who Loves us.  You care enough to discipline us, when we elevate ourselves above you, to bring us back in the fold.

Then the Lord said, “Because this people draw near with their words And honor Me with their lip service, But they remove their hearts far from Me, And their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote,

Slow down, listen for the voice of God, meditate on his word, and act on it.  Don’t just think about it.  The men in the picture, most definitely acted on it, and came face to face with the Living God.

Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.

Why do you do good.  Is it to please men, and elevate yourself, or is it to please God?  There is a HUGE difference.  One is for your own self gratification, and one is for submitting to God.
