Living Waters

Love is an action as well as a supernatural gift of the spirit. The action is not just moving our mouth. We are nothing but noise, if our words of love don’t have actions of love, associated with them.

Also, now for the hardest example of Love. The Bible says to Love You Enemys! Meditate on that one for a while….You also cannot do this without meditating on the fact that we were once enemies of God. If not reconciled by Jesus, we would still be God’s enemies!

The things of this world are temporal, but the things of the LORD are eternal. We find joy when we accept and pursue and shower ourselves in God’s promises.

We are forgiven,
We are called sons and daughters,
We are loved perfectly,
We have a perfect father,
We are perfect through Jesus work on the cross and his resurrection,
We have a helper who guides and directs us
We have God’s word that always gives us wisdom to walk fearlessly in a lost and decaying world.
We also have a home that is being prepared for us to spend all of eternity, in a place where there will be no sorrow.

The very thing that Israel could not fulfill (To be a light to the nations), Jesus was able to do and more. He was not only a light to the nation’s, but a light unto the whole world. Jesus was the fulfillment of God’s promise to restore all of creation and build his Kingdom, one soul at a time. This was a foreshadowing of the final event of a completed New creation for all of eternity.
