Bible says, Pick your Friends Wisely!

A man of too many friends comes to ruin, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Jesus, who is the author and perfector of our faith (HEB 12), also calls US his friends.

What are you doing right now?

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

Every time you have an option on your time, think about the verse above.  I know it will help me fill my mind with other people, rather than thinking of myself.

May we put on the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16).

Who can reconcile the vast expanse of holiness, between God and ALL of Mankind?

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.

What can we do?  Nothing, but recognize the unfathomable gift of love, and fall at his feet and worship him.

Want to be set free from the power of sin and death?

Put your trust and faith in Jesus, who has overcome all that is wrong in this world, and he will give you, life eternal.

Whom do you serve, God or Man? Galatians 1:10 says you must choose one or the other.  There is no middle ground.

For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.

Want to be strong? See what the bible says.

Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Who would like a word of encouragement?

The bible says to consider others more important than yourself.  Maybe you should consider GIVING, a word of encouragement to someone!  Who knows, maybe it will even work it’s way back to you.  God’s love is contagious.

What do you think?

Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, But a good word makes it glad.

Need a friend?  Jesus is close by and always available to talk.

The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.

Ministry may not be Glamorous at times, but know this……..  God sees every act of love we have shown to others, in his name.  Is that not all the motivation we need?

For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints.
Hebrews 6:10 NASB

Our hope is in a great king (Jesus), who shows great mercy to his followers.

This worlds government can never save us!  We put out faith and trust in one who will build a Holy Nation, that will last for all of eternity.  His kingdom will never end (Is 9: 6-7).

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
