Are you filled with the spirit?  If not, then why?  See below for a link to know how you can be filled with the spirit, if you are a believer.  If you are not a believer, you need the other link, for becoming a believer.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Becomming a Follower of Jesus

Our deeds are not because we are so good.  It is an outpouring of our hearts, when we understand how good, God is to us.   His Grace and Mercy should flow out of us, because we have been the benefactors of them.

“I, the Lord , search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.

We are secure, when we put our Trust and Faith in Jesus.

Commit your way to the Lord , Trust also in Him, and He will do it.
Psalms 37:5 NASB

We are not called to rejoice in the good times only.  Our hope comes not from temporal things, but from an eternal God, who will provide us all things for all eternity.

Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will exult in the Lord , I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17‭-‬18 NASB

This is from John Mac comments on this verse.  It says it better than I could.

If everything that was normal and predictable collapsed, the prophet would still rejoice. Obedience to the covenant was a requisite element to the enjoyment of agricultural and pastoral prosperity ( Dt 28: 1– 14 ). Though disobedience would initiate the covenant curses ( Dt 28: 31– 34 , 49– 51 ), the prophet affirmed his commitment to the Lord; his longing and joyful desire was for God Himself.

Please, tell me if you saw God do the impossible today!   Would love to hear how he made the impossible, possible.

And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

We can’t try and win the approval of the world.  It can’t save us.  Instead, we need to be looking to Jesus, and he will change how we love the people around us.  We always need to be reminded, it’s not about US!  Thank you Jesus, that you first loved us, so that we might love others.

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves;

Don’t be a noisy gong, or a clanging symbol.  Our actions, must match our word’s (1st Cor 13)

Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.
1 John 3:18 NASB

Our Salvation comes  from Faith, through Grace.  Because of this,  the Works overflow from us,  through the Holy Spirits empowering.  It is not in, and of, our own strength or power.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Want to take a stand against the devil?  Put on the FULL armor of God! The battle is not a physical one, but a spiritual one.  Read verses 10-20 to see all the armor.  Most all is defensive, but the word of God (The Sword), is the one that can move us forward, offensively.

Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
