Thy word, have I treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against you. How sweet, are the promises of God, that I might be cleansed, by his word’s of encouragement, for a sinner such as me. Thank you, Lord!
We can be deceived by our own sinful hearts. The Lord knows our hearts, and is not deceived, nor can we deceive him. Trust in him and seek his ways, and he will guide us.
Thank you Jesus. Even though we fall short on our own, you have made us righteous, in the eyes of the Father, through your work on the cross, and resurrection. We believe in Faith, and it is counted as righteousness. No matter, what we have done, when we humble ourselves before you, it is as though our sins never happened.
Love God, and walk in his ways and find life, both present and eternal . The alternative, comes in the next couple of verses. Reject God, and his ways and you will find death, both in this present life and for all of eternity. Something to consider wisely.
Oh Lord, if we could just get this straight. Listen first, carefully choose our word’s, and not take personally what people say, which can bring us to anger. Also Lord, may we be reminded, to be obedient to this passage. This is not a suggestion, but a command by God! May your Holy Spirit give us the self control, to carry this out.
Father, may our hearts be filled with thankfulness, as we surrender to you. May your peace overwhelm us as we go out and live our lives today.
Are you looking for REST? You will not find it, in the tireless effort of trying to fulfill the law. Only through the endless love and grace of God, through Jesus, will you find it. Jesus said, “come to me, all of you who weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest”.
Lord, may our hearts be stirred up, knowing you have our backs, and you care deeply about us. We are your workmanship, created for good works, that we might give you glory.
Lord, may we live our lives, in a manner that recognizes this as truth. May we be amazed that the creator, wants to have a relationship with the created. Amen
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord , the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.
