Prayer……..It changes Us, not God! He is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Our prayers are not meant to some recital, of the same thing, over and over, or thoughtlessly. It doesn’t mean that they can’t be persistent. God already knows, what we need, but sometimes as we bow before him, he reveals those desperate needs to us more clearly. May he speak to us, through his word and our meditation and prayers, today. I know he has to me, this morning. Thank you, Jesus.

“And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

The faithfulness of the believer’s witness, will impact his/her eternal capacity to reflect God’s glory for all of eternity. May we shine today, that those who are list, will find their way to Jesus.

Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

Not only, does the Gospel give hope to the lost, it brings joy and peace, to those who believe. Now that is Good Medicine you can’t buy at a store. Thank you, Jesus.

A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.

I will fear no evil. Thank you, Jesus.

But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

Where shall the help come from? It shall come from the creator (v2), not from the created (hills/mountains). The hills/mountains, probably lead to Jerusalem, where the temple of the Lord, was, and where his presence, was also.

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come?

Another one of my favorites. I have had many acquaintances, over the years, but a handful of close friends. I would trust them with my life, and I hope theirs, with me. May the Lord, help us find those friends and keep them, no matter what, the circumstances of time, or distance,

A man of too many friends comes to ruin, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

The Great Commission. May we go as commanded, and share our good news.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

God does not need perfect people, to do his bidding. He needs people to answer the call, when he asks. Don’t try and be perfect, before you serve God. He already sent Jesus to to remedy your imperfection. God uses imperfect people, to accomplish his plan, to those that put their trust and faith in him. Will it be you, today?

Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Jesus was saying to the Jews, this Gentile Roman centurian had more faith than you have shown me! Read the story in Matt 8:5-10.

Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.

One day at a time. This is hard for me, because I am always planning ahead. When things don’t go right, I get frustrated. Its OK to plan, but I need to remember, that each day, God reserves the right to change HIS plan (Important to remember, who’s plan it is). Also, thinking that each day is fully surrendering to God and the direction he needs us to take. Hope your direction is straight and true, in the path, that Jesus, would want you to walk. If it is, then there should be no worries. Have a blessed day.

“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
