I don’t think “ Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz” (it’s a song, for you younger people, look it up), is what the verse on the image, is talking about! On the other hand, “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” , 1 Thess 5:18, is one of many Bible verses that is clearly God’s will for us. We need to be continually in God’s word, that we may clearly know his plan and will for us, along with communicating and listening to him, regularly. I want you to stop and think about this, with me for a minute. Jesus’s way, is not the world’s way. We are called to Love our enemies, not destroy and overcome, like the worldly view. We overcome with Love and Compassion, just as Jesus did. Think about an enemy, or someone you are at war (there is strife of some sort) with right now. Show compassion and love to them, but don’t do it to get something. Do it because that is how Jesus did it. The rest is not up to us. God Bless you today.
