I used to read this to my small groups to see if anyone was listening, “Rejoice when things are hard, “Pray when you feel like it, and give thanks in some circumstances. I just wanted to see, if someone was aware of my misinterpretation. Most of the time, someone would say, hey, that’s not what it says. Funny how our minds can make it sound the way we want it too, but are ignoring what it says. I wonder if God, does the same, to remind us, we’re not getting it.
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for HE is GOOD, HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER! Our circumstances…….do not dictate…..our RESPONSE to GOD!
