A Prayer of gratitude, to our Loving Father.

Father, we come before you in humility. You are Holy & Righteous & Perfect & Just & Know & See all things. Before you, we bow, because our heart are grateful for your gift of your son, Jesus. He has made all things right, that we might stand before you as clean and whole, in spite of our sinfulness. We are eternally grateful, and bless your name, today, and everyday. Amen

May our light shine bright, for the world to see. May that light, not point to us for our perfection, but to Jesus, who was perfect in every way. The God/Man who came to give us this light and life.

Oh God, this day is yours to give or take from us. May this day be a day, that no matter what comes our way, that our faith will be unwavering. That you fill us with perfect peace that only you can give, as we trust in you. May we put no idols before you as walk through this fallen world. You are our lighthouse, that shows us the way, through the deep waters. Shine your light.

Lord, it is a fine balance we walk, as we ask for wisdom to be in the world, but not of this world. We need you more than ever, as the winds of change come in Erie gusts over this country. May we make a difference for you, individually, and as a church, both locally and globally, to win souls, for you Great Name. Amen!

God, I pray, just as I pray for strength and perseverance, that you also grant that I might live, in harmony with my brothers, and sisters, in Christ! You know….when I try to do things in my own strength, I fail, so please help us all in this area, that we might give you Glory. Amen.

Prayer, it changes things, but it also changes us, as we submit our requests to God.

bible.com/bible/100/1ti.2.1-4.NASB1995

Our prayers are not for us to be seen, but for us and our hearts to be seen by God. It is not for us to receive Glory, but for him to receive Glory and Honor and Praise, and to petition him for his will ours needs? It’s not about us, but about him.
