Father, help us all remember, that the Holy Spirit(God), lives inside one us. Help us to remember, to treat our bodies, as your living temple, with our mouths, our eyes, and our ears, as we walk daily with you, Lord. Deliver us each moment from the sin, so easily besets us, in your name. AMEN.

I used to read this to my small groups to see if anyone was listening, “Rejoice when things are hard, “Pray when you feel like it, and give thanks in some circumstances. I just wanted to see, if someone was aware of my misinterpretation. Most of the time, someone would say, hey, that’s not what it says. Funny how our minds can make it sound the way we want it too, but are ignoring what it says. I wonder if God, does the same, to remind us, we’re not getting it.

We are not merely to hear Gods word, but to actively pursue doing it. We’ve missed the point, if we quietly absorb his words, and not put them in action. Is there anything today, that you need to take action on what God is telling you?
