Your Mercies NEVER fail us. The birth of Jesus, was the beginning of a new covenant, to all people. Many, will come to know him, not just as a Baby, but as the Son of God, who came to save the World, from their sin.

John MacArthur Study Bible
We urge you. Paul has discussed how the pastors are to serve the people and how the people are to respond to the pastors (vv. 12, 13). In these verses, he presents how the people are to treat each other in the fellowship of the church. The “unruly,” those out of line, must be warned and taught to get back in line. The “fainthearted,” those in fear and doubt, must be encouraged and made bold. The “weak,” those without spiritual and moral strength, must be held up firmly. Patience, forgiveness, and acts of goodness must prevail among all the people. † 5:16–22 Paul gave a summary of the Christian’s virtues. These verses provide the foundational principles for a sound spiritual life in brief, staccato statements that, in spite of their brevity, give believers the priorities for successful Christian living.

“You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,” 1 Peter 5:5-6
Father, forgive us, when raise ourselves up in arrogance , and think we we are the center of he universe, that we lift ourselves up, instead of you you. We are your workmanship, created in YOUR IMAGE. May we marvel in the Creator not the Your Created. May God Bless us All today, as we humble ourselves before him.

Father, may we all, who profess your name, be telling a lost world, the Good News, that our souls were bought with a price, that we can never repay, by Jesus perfect life, his giving of himself for us, out of perfect love, that we might be rescued from ourselves, to a new life in him. Your word never returns empty, and YOUR LOVE NEVER FAILS.

How great, the fathers love for us, that he would truly, give the gift, that keeps on giving. We can’t earn it, we don’t deserve it, but can accept it, and treasure it in our hearts, and tell all of how it has changed us. God truly is with us, as Jesus left his Holy Spirit, to indwell us and guide us in our path. Is that not worth sharing?
