Father, we are incapable of doing these things on our own. Fill us in remembrance of how you have shown us great mercy, and fill us with your Holy Spirit, to give us your own eyes of compassion on those around us, as undeserving as we were. We deserve nothing, but you have given us life. Amen!

We are adopted sons/daughters and when we trusted in Jesus for salvation, there is no judgement for those in Christ. We have been perfected in love. Is this not Good News? This speaks of mourning over sin, the godly sorrow that produces repentance leading to salvation without regret ( 2Co 7:10 ). The “comfort” is the comfort of forgiveness and salvation (cf. Is 40:1 , 2 ).

I pray Lord, that we remember, that when we gave our life to you, we would be part of the workers, who help bring in the harvest. Use us Lord, for a bountiful harvest, for you Glory.

May we use all wisely, in the the strength of the Lord, and not foolishly in our own might, less we fail. Give God the glory, not ourselves.
