The Lord tells the Israelites under Joshua’s leadership, Do NOT Fear, for I go to prepare the way before you to fight the battle. Are trusting him today, to continue to fight our battles? Are we praying for victory in his name, and how he wants that to look like? Are trusting him and believing him completely? These are the questions I need to be asking him daily, that he might give me wisdom, to fight the battle on his term, not my own. Forgive me Lord, when I fail to do that.
Theology is the study of man, through God’s perspective. Psychology is the study of man, through Man’s perspective. Which one will you trust? The Bible is God’s very own words, Given to men!
It is not I who live, but Christ in me! To all of you who follow me on my humble site, a heart felt thanks for you and for all of your own thoughts, prayers and encouragements. I am truly blessed, that God has brought you into my life. May the Lord, truly be honored by what we say and do. God Bless You All.
Gods words will not change. This earth will pass away, but his promise is imminent. He will come, even though we don’t know when. We are to be ready, not spending our time unwisely on unimportant things. What are those things? We must decide, based on his word, not our own selfish hearts desire. Holy Spirit, convict us of the things are unimportant to you, and help us change, so we will embrace you, with open arms, with no regrets, both now and on your return.

Christ’s emphasis instead is on faithfulness, watchfulness, stewardship, expectancy, and preparedness. These are the lessons He taught in the parables that immediately follow.
Let us look to the book of life that are the very words of God. It is here in our times alone with him and his presence, that we will find the words of life. Science and mental health professionals are not what this world needs for living each day. Their words are man’s words, not Gods.
This is not salvation by works in any way. It is pursuing your sanctification/maturity with a a balance of fear of disappointing God, and an awe of how magnificent he is. Fully devoted to him, until you made new.
What we have been taught and seen and heard in others walk with Jesus, May we we do the same so the Gospel may not stop with us, but may share with others.

Father, please remind us that we have eternal life now, when we received your gift of salvation. Help us to live life now, as having received that gift.
Taken from the John MacArthur study Bible
With this statement, Jesus moved Martha from an abstract belief in the resurrection that will take place “on the last day” (cf. 5:28 , 29 ) to a personalized trust in Him who alone can raise the dead. No resurrection or eternal life exists outside of the Son of God. Time (“on the last day”) is no barrier to the One who has the power of resurrection and life ( 1:4 ) for He can give life at any time.
