Even in the midst of judgment, opportunity to repent was given. If they would demonstrate genuine repentance, the Lord stood ready to forgive and bless. A lesson for all, that God is merciful, and wants all to repent and turn back to him.

How difficult it is, to see clearly, when we mistake wants with needs. It doesn’t mean that he might not bless us with some wants, but that is not the promse here.

OUR GOD THRU JESUS, HAS DELIVERED US FROM THE BONDAGE OF SIN. NOT THRU ANYTHING WE CAN DO, BU THROUGH THE WORK OF JESUS. WE ARE FREE, INDEED. MAY WE LIVE AS THOUGH WE BELIEVE THIS PROMISE.

In the book of Joshua, he says Do Not Fear. I go before you in the battle. I will give you the Victory. He has declared victory in Jesus, through his perfect life, his death and resurrection. The victory has been won, over sin and death. We are are victorious through Jesus, both now and for all eternity, to those who believe. Do you believe? Lets shout it from the rooftops. Good news, indeed.
