Our Hope is not in our local, regional, or international leaders, or our nation. Our Hope is in the one true God, who knows all things and his plan marches on, in spite of those who stand against him. His plan is to rescue all those who turn to Jesus, his son, that they might be restored to a right standing before him. For those who turn to him for their Hope, there is both blessing and forgiveness, for what is behind us.
This is not an external act of religion, but a reflection of a change of heart, by faith, based on love. Lord, may we be a people of Love, based on a changed heart, by the work of your son Jesus.
