Share with me what you give praise to God for today. Our God is greater than any circumstance that we might be going through. I GIVE PRAISE, FOR MY WIFE, WHO BY THE GRACE OF GOD, ENDURED BRAIN SURGERY, AND HAS NEVER HAD A SEIZURE SINCE THAT TIME. THE DOCTORS COULD ONLY GUESS THAT SHE MIGHT HAVE FEWER SEIZURES. SHE IS MY MIRACLE!!!

True Godly repentance, leads to a renewed joy found in turning to God, and true remorse, yet trusting him to wash you of your failure. Ungodly repentance is of the world, and is more about regret, and/or fear of getting caught, and is of the world. This can lead to tremendous stress, guilt, and even lead to death!

Therefore. The result or consequence of the truth just taught. Normally it marks the conclusion of the verses immediately preceding it. ( See notes below from MacArthur study Bible)

But here it introduces the staggering results of Paul’s teaching in the first 7 chapters: that justification is by faith alone on the basis of God’s overwhelming grace.

no condemnation.

Occurring only 3 times in the NT, all in Romans (cf. 5:16, 18), “condemnation” is used exclusively in judicial settings as the opposite of justification. It refers to a verdict of guilty and the penalty that verdict demands. No sin a believer can commit—past, present, or future—can be held against him, since the penalty was paid by Christ and righteousness was imputed to the believer. And no sin will ever reverse this divine legal decision (see note on v. 33). those … in Christ Jesus. I.e., every true Christian; to be in Christ means to be united with Him (see notes on 6:2, 11; cf. 6:1–11; 1Co 12:13, 27; 15:22).

It is not the heavens and earth that I worship, Oh Lord, it is you the creator of these marvelous things. They cry out, to declare a most wonderful and powerful God of the universe.

Jesus was the one and only perfect sacrifice, that was acceptable to God for all of humanity, that was promised when Adam and Ever were banished from the Garden. He was the snake crusher, who would also be crushed. He would rise from that crushing blow, that would offer life eternal, to all who live by faith in him only.

“He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”

HE cares for us, that all might humble themselves, and turn to Jesus, who was the ultimate example, of humility. The son of God, fully human, fully God, perfect in every way. He was only one who could save us from our wayward selves. Thank You, Jesus.

It is the gift of life for those who believe, but for those who don’t, it is foolishness, but also carry’s the weight of eternal judgement. God does not any to perish, but to receive the free gift of life. This does not mean, that there was not a tremendous price to pay, for our wayward hearts!
