Don’t ever think you are alone in your struggles. Each and everyone will struggle. Know that God is faithful. He will not forsake us and also provides us a way of escape. The church body is our sanctuary, find those who are honest with their own struggles, and encourage one another to fight the good fight, to run the race with endurance, to walk and not grow weary. Most importantly, it is not us who can win the battle, Jesus has done that for us. Is this not truly good NEWS? If we confess our sins, he is faithful to forgive us our sins, and to cleanses us from all unrighteousness. This is not a one time thing. It is ongoing in, not only asking God to forgive us, but also forgiving others. How beautiful a picture of Love. It sounds easy enough, but in reality, it is not always easy for me. Father, forgive me when I am holding on to something, I need to let go of. Living and walking go hand in hand. It doesn’t mean we won’t sin, but it does mean, that we a walking toward the Hope we have in Faith, that one day, we will be made perfect, because of the one who was perfect. Thank you, Jesus. Great and mighty, are your works Oh Lord. It is you who hold all things together. It is you who created the foundations of the earth. It is you who hold the stars in place and keep the oceans from covering the whole earth. Most wonderful, is that you love us, in spite of our imperfect ways, yet Jesus made us whole. You call us adopted sons and daughters. In all these troubled times, we are truly blessed. There is no discrimination with God. Those who repent (turn) from their path of destruction, and put their dependence in Jesus, through his perfect life, that we could not do, will be saved. Every race, every color, every language, who calls upon the name of Jesus, in faith will be united together. This is good news, and the only truth that will conquer division, through love. A sobering thought, yet reason to rejoice. We have been given a pardon, and we can live with no chains to bind us. Though we may, and will still sin, we are freed. Our hope and faith in Jesus, is our sanctuary. Live life in his name, and you will be set free. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For thou art with me. Father, you are that outstretched hand that helps me that leap of faith, every day, every hour, every minute. I am yours, and you call me by name. You gave your life, so that we may live. May we shout it so all may hear, that there is hope, for those who believe in faith. There is no condemnation, for those who are in Christ Jesus. Not because we deserve it, but because of what he has done.
