I wonder if Isaiah might have been thinking, about King David. David wrote in Psalm 23, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. They rod and and thy staff they comfort me.

Either way, I hope you are resting in peace, knowing that the God of the universe, has got you in his hands.

1“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. 2“In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.3“If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.

Risk vs Reward…..Eternal damnation or Eternal Glory. Jesus is worth the Risk and Reward, for trusting and following him! Satan on the other hand is a liar.

Not only is this promise, for eternity, but it is for today. Jesus, didn’t give his life, so that we can sit around and wait, for the perfect life in Heaven. He gave it so we might live now, in light of this promise, with a hope that shines a light on the Good News, that the King has come, and goes to prepare a place for us. We can live now, in freedom, from the bondage from sin, and live for him! If you are hurting today, I pray, that Jesus would show you comfort, in the midst of your trial. May you feel the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Amen.

This verse reminds me of the old hymn, “Just a closer walk with thee”. What a wonderful reminder, to walk, hand in hand, with Jesus, moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day, both now and forever!

I want you to stop and think about this, with me for a minute. Jesus’s way, is not the world’s way. We are called to Love our enemies, not destroy and overcome, like the worldly view. We overcome with Love and Compassion, just as Jesus did. Think about an enemy, or someone you are at war (there is strife of some sort) with right now. Show compassion and love to them, but don’t do it to get something. Do it because that is how Jesus did it. The rest is not up to us. God Bless you today.

Isn’t it great to know, that no matter what happens to us here on this earth, we have a God who protects us. Not saying bad things won’t come in this sinful world, but for those who put their trust and faith in Jesus, we will never die. We will pass, from this temporary life, into all eternity, with all of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Now that is Good News we should be telling to all who will come to Jesus.

Help us remember, Lord, that you allow us, to go through trials, so that we choose you. This life, will have many tests and trials, but for those who remain in their faith in Jesus, (Not in their own self), will enter into your kingdom with joy. There will be no more sorrows, no more pain, no more sickness, no more sinful nature. So…..let us take joy in Jesus word’s, take heart, I have overcome the world!
