Don’t forget the first part of this verse. David…….waited patiently on the Lord. –“I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me and heard my cry”–

Father, hear our cry’s for help, yet may you give us the patience to listen carefully, to your whispering, and the Holy Spirits prompting, to discern your Truth, from Satan and the Worlds lies.
A gentle reminder, that we are not meant to do this life on our own. We have a God, who can do the the impossible, when we surrender our own will, for his. As the Apostle Paul said, I can do all things, through Christ who strengthens me. Can I get an Amen, brothers and sisters.
Surely I will uphold you with MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND! ( Emphasis added).
God did not make us to walk alone in this World.

Lord, forgive us for thinking our temptation’s and struggles are unique. Everyone who lives on this earth, struggles with different things, but let us not bottle them up. You know our every need, our strengths and weaknesses. We confess to you openly, our struggles. May we embrace the fact, that we are not alone, as we walk through tests and trials, that we face.
You can Run, you can Hide, you can Deny the Truth, but there is only one God, and He has created and rules over all things. Shall you try and find you own way, or will you turn and Trust the God, who care deeply for, and wants to walk with you through these difficult times. You won’t be disappointed. If you don’t know what to do, Read the Book of John in the Bible. It will tell you the right story that will speak directly to your heart.
One of my favorite verses. It helps me be reminded, that God is in Control. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, but when I do it on my Own, I fail God badly, since I am not allowing him to work in me, but selfishly following my own path. Not a good idea.

Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord, and He shall Lift you up.
Humbling yourself before God, is resisting Satan. It’s not standing in your own strength, but being filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus gift to us, along with his sacrifice on the cross, and his gift of eternal life.

Submit. Lit. “to line up under.” The word was used of soldiers under the authority of their commander. In the NT, it describes Jesus’ submission to His parents’ authority (Lk 2:51), submission to human government (Ro 13:1), the church’s submission to Christ (Eph 5:24), and servants’ submission to their masters (Titus 2:9; 1Pe 2:18). James used the word to describe a willing, conscious submission to God’s authority as sovereign ruler of the universe. A truly humble person will give his allegiance to God, obey His commands, and follow His leadership (cf. Mt 10:38). Resist the devil and he will flee from you. The flip side of the first command. “Resist” literally means “take your stand against.” All people are either under the lordship of Christ or the lordship of Satan (Jn 8:44; Eph 2:2; 1Jn 3:8; 5:19); there is no middle ground. Those who transfer their allegiance from Satan to God will find that Satan “will flee from” them; he is a defeated foe.
Of Whom Shall I Fear?
