We will find no condemnation, under the Old Testament Law and covenant, for those under the New Covenant of grace, we find freedom from the bondage of sin. Do I hear a Hallelujah?
17 the Lord is the Spirit. Yahweh of the OT is the same Lord who is saving people in the New Covenant through the agency of the Holy Spirit. The same God is the minister of both the Old and New Covenants. there is liberty. Freedom from sin and the futile attempt to keep the demands of the law as a means of earning righteousness (cf. Jn 8:32–36; Ro 3:19, 20). The believer is no longer in bondage to the law’s condemnation and Satan’s dominion.

The book of Jonah is a story about a rebellious prophet who despises his God for loving his enemies.
Lord, watch over and protect those being threatened by all the floods and flood warnings. I especially pray for my sister, who is blocks away from the Missouri River dike. May you give them all wisdom, to know when it’s time to move away from the danger that is close by. Amen.
Have you ever heard your parents say, “If your friend, jumped off a bridge, would you jump off too”? We are all like sheep, following our own path before God, but rather than severe judgement, God provided a solution. He gave his son, Jesus, to take that judgement, that we might live. We get to live life, free from the shame and guilt of our own selves, and give praise and glory, to God for his mercy and grace, and tell all who will listen, of his marvelous love he has shown us. Isaiah 53:6 Notes from John MacArthur Study Bible
All of us … Each of us … us all. Every person has sinned (Ro 3:9, 23), but the Servant has sufficiently shouldered the consequences of sin and the righteous wrath deserved by sinners (cf. 1Ti 2:5, 6; 4:10; 1Jn 2:2). The manner in which God laid our iniquity on Him was that God treated Him as if He had committed every sin ever committed by every person who would ever believe, though He was perfectly innocent of any sin. God did so to Him, so that wrath being spent and justice satisfied, God could then give to the account of sinners who believe, the righteousness of Christ, treating them as if they had done only the righteous acts of Christ.
The Book of Obadiah: An animated story from “The Bible Project”
Obadiah announces Edom’s downfall to Babylon, which is an image of how God will bring down all arrogant and violent nations.
Amos accuses Israel of breaking their covenant with God and highlights how their idolatry has led to injustice and the neglect of the poor.
We give thanks, Oh Lord, for delivering us from a dry and parched land, and proving Living Water through your son Jesus, that we might find life, both now, and for the times to come, for all times with You.
Call upon the Name of the Lord, and He will Answer you. Wait Patiently for Him. His Timeline, is not ours. For one day is like a Thousand, and a Thousand like a Day.
God’s sovereignty is seen in 3 realms: (See note below).
1) building a house
2) protecting a city, and
3) earning a living.
In all 3 instances, the sovereign intention of God is far more crucial to the outcome than man’s efforts. Otherwise, a man’s endeavor is in vain (cf. Etc 1:2; 12:8).
