Those who have been forgiven so much by God should, of all people, forgive the relatively small offenses against them by others. The most graphic illustration of this truth is the parable of Mt 18:21–35 (JM study Bible). Father, fill our hearts and minds with your Gospel. Remind us, just how much we have been Forgiven and shown Grace. May we show the same, to our brothers and sisters in Christ and those around us.
Not because we are so good, but Jesus is so good! We are freed and forgiven, because of Jesus work on the cross and…….his resurrection. Can I get a Hallelujah and an Amen? 😇
Let us be filled with your Holy Spirit Lord, each and every day. May we have Peace, as the next verse in verse 27 promises. Nothing can separate us from your Love!
Have you not seen, have you not believed? This world was no accident. EVERYTHING in this World, has a Creator. He is the one true God, who’s heavens cry out to his majesty. His love is so great for us, that he sent his only son, Jesus, to rescue us from our own destruction. If you don’t know him, come and seek him with all of your heart, and you will find him. He will be your God and you will be his son or daughter.
It is our HEART, that the Lord is interested in, not checking off a box, that WE did something right before him. When we humbly bow down before him, he lifts us up! It is him who must work through us, not We, ourselves. Thank you Jesus, that you gave us your helper, your Holy Spirit, and your word, to guide and direct us. ❤️
I don’t think “ Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz” (it’s a song, for you younger people, look it up), is what the verse on the image, is talking about! On the other hand, “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” , 1 Thess 5:18, is one of many Bible verses that is clearly God’s will for us. We need to be continually in God’s word, that we may clearly know his plan and will for us, along with communicating and listening to him, regularly. God Bless You Today and give you what you need……..Alan
There is no shame in suffering for being a Christian. They may hate us for our faith, but just as Jesus did, we must love those as Jesus loved us, when we were enemies of God. May God show mercy, just as he did to us, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Yet we have been set free by his Grace, through Jesus own love for us.
Forgiveness is a beautiful thing. How can we as sons and daughters of God, not forgive as well? Father, may we be reminded continuously, of the grace you have shown us, that we may show it to others.
“But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be a sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. Matt 5:44-45

Unlike the world of politics, we have a higher standard. Although, we are to give special attention to those in the body of Christ, we are to reflect Jesus, through loving those who are undeserving of our love, just as we were, and God still loved us. See how this concept, goes against everything in this world tells us to do! I pray, we can find someone, undeserving today, that we might show the Love of Jesus to, this day.
