The Lord tells the Israelites under Joshua’s leadership, Do NOT Fear, for I go to prepare the way before you to fight the battle. Are trusting him today, to continue to fight our battles? Are we praying for victory in his name, and how he wants that to look like? Are trusting him and believing him completely? These are the questions I need to be asking him daily, that he might give me wisdom, to fight the battle on his term, not my own. Forgive me Lord, when I fail to do that.

God has given us all the weapons to fight the battle. Most all are defensive weapons, but only one is for offense. That would be the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. May we use all wisely, in the the strength of the Lord, and not foolishly in our own might, less we fail. Give God the glory, not ourselves.
