God hates the proud heart, so we are to walk in humility. We do this, by be filled with his spirit, knowing God’s Word, and trusting in his sovereignty, that his plan is best, even when we don’t understand it. When the time is right, our God will lift us up. This whole chapter is a great one to study, as well as James 1 (my favorite), to better understand, going through trials. Jesus, may we walk in humility today, and every day. Your will and timing is perfect, and we submit to you. Amen.

One day at a time. This is hard for me, because I am always planning ahead. When things don’t go right, I get frustrated. Its OK to plan, but I need to remember, that each day, God reserves the right to change HIS plan (Important to remember, who’s plan it is). Also, thinking that each day is fully surrendering to God and the direction he needs us to take. Hope your direction is straight and true, in the path, that Jesus, would want you to walk. Pray fervently, wait patiently through the trials, that come your way. God is faithful, and will give you strength. He is our strength. He never grows weary, of taking care of those who put their trust and faith in him. So…….let us press on toward the the goal for the prize, of the upward call of God, in Christ Jesus (Phil 3:14)!

Help us remember, Lord, that you allow us, to go through trials, so that we choose you. This life, will have many tests and trials, but for those who remain in their faith in Jesus, (Not in their own self), will enter into your kingdom with joy. There will be no more sorrows, no more pain, no more sickness, no more sinful nature. So…..let us take joy in Jesus word’s, take heart, I have overcome the world!
