Ro 12:12 ; Php 4:6 ; 1Th 5:17 ); 3) “in the Spirit” focuses on submission, as we line up with the will of God (cf. Ro 8:26 , 27 ); 4) “be on the alert” focuses on the manner (cf. It is Satans highly organized army that is against us! Fortunately, those who are in Christ, God has given us the tools we need, to defend ourselves, as well as go on the offensive. We are not alone, as we, the Church, resist and conquer, one soul at a time, as the Gospel moves forward, and calls people into the Kingdom of God, for his Glory, not our own.
