Let us all Remember, that this life, and our Faith, is not a game. We cant just dress up our lives to look good, but really not have pure motives. God sees everything, and knows our hearts. Not that we won’t make mistakes, but that we do walk in faith. It is Jesus who makes us right before a Holy God, and the Holy Spirit, who strengthens us to persevere, and be faithful. One day we will be made perfect, but until then, may we be filled with the spirit, humbled by the gift of salvation, through Faith, and walk with confidence that God loves us. May we show that same love to others today and every day.

The assumption is that there are two gates that lead to heaven. The wide gate is all religions of works and self righteousness that lead to destruction. Jesus said that the narrow gate is to follow him by faith, which is the only way to salvation. This is the narrow gate. It is by Grace alone, but it is not an easy path. It takes knowledge of God’s truth, repentance, and submission to Jesus’s path, and not our own. Thank you Jesus, for you Holy Spirit, that helps us on that narrow path, to all who choose to follow it.

If you are the center of your own universe, ie you worship yourself, how will you ever, find the one true God. If this is you, Jesus, is the only way to finding God! Think about the men and women who have gone before us. They are who we look to for inspiration. They are not looking at us, but we at them. Take a moment to remember, someone who has guided, and shown you the way, of true faith. Set aside the legalism, that the Hebrews were surrounded by, and put your faith and Trust in Jesus, the one and only one, who provides salvation to those who accept his free gift. Finally, get rid of the temptations and distractions, around us, that take away our focus, from running the race. May we all run with focus, today, and with vision. May we point the way to Jesus, for future generations to follow.
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

The Christian life, is not about remembering a point in time. Salvation is about that, but it is just the beginning. We are called to follow Jesus, and that is not an intellectual exercise. The Bible says that even the demons acknowledge Jesus and shutter! We are Called to Read and study, meditate and pray, serve one another, minister to the weak and poor, share His Story…..You get the idea. If you have been, negligent in this area, confess it. We serve a gracious God who forgives, and separates our sins, as far as the East is from the West. Is that not Amazing! Let’s go out today, filled with the Spirit, and see what God will do. Please share if you see his work in your life today. I know I have already this morning. I had no idea I would be writing this, even after I saw the verse. God is so Good. Thank you Jesus!

Isn’t it great to know, that no matter what happens to us here on this earth, we have a God who protects us. Not saying bad things won’t come in this sinful world, but for those who put their trust and faith in Jesus, we will never die. We will pass, from this temporary life, into all eternity, with all of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Now that is Good News we should be telling to all who will come to Jesus.
