Father, I surrender to you, all things that distract from you today. Help me to see what is good, is right,is pure,is Holy. Let me see your goodness in the midst of a fallen world. May I see through your eyes. Amen
Thank you Jesus, that through you, we find life! Not only now, but for all of eternity. This truly is good news, that though we don’t deserve it, we find Mercy and Grace, through you.
The world’s definition of poor is to be without Gods favor, but God’s favor is clearly opposite See notes below).

Blessed. The word lit. means “happy, fortunate, blissful.” Here it speaks of more than a surface emotion. Jesus was describing the divinely-bestowed well-being that belongs only to the faithful. The Beatitudes demonstrate that the way to heavenly blessedness is antithetical to the worldly path normally followed in pursuit of happiness. The worldly idea is that happiness is found in riches, merriment, abundance, leisure, and such things. The real truth is the very opposite. The Beatitudes give Jesus’ description of the character of true faith. poor in spirit. The opposite of self-sufficiency. This speaks of the deep humility of recognizing one’s utter spiritual bankruptcy apart from God. It describes those who are acutely conscious of their own lostness and hopelessness apart from divine grace (cf. 9:12 ; Lk 18:13 ). See note on 19:17 . theirs is the kingdom of heaven. See note on 3:2 . Notice that the truth of salvation by grace is clearly presupposed in this opening verse of the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus was teaching that the kingdom is a gracious gift to those who sense their own poverty of spirit.
Do You Believe?
The Apostles had not received the Holy Spirit yet. They had done many things for Jesus. Once they received the Spirit, they were able to do great things with Boldnes in the name of Jesus. How about you? Do you Believe? I believe and am not ashamed of the Gospel! May we declare with boldness, that in this sinful world, there are trials, but we have Victory thru Jesus. Not in world systems, man’s wisdom, world leaders, or any other created thing. Is is only through King Jesus!
We are rich, not because of what we have, but because of what he has given to us!
Riches, Honor, and Long Life. What blessings we have in Christ, both now……and forever. Let us count our blessings with great Joy today, and forever. Can I get an Amen? 😀😄

The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord Are riches, honor and life.
