LOVE ONE ANOTHER (See prayer below)

bible.com/bible/100/jhn.13.35.NASB1995

Father, we are not capable of doing this on our own strength and power. By your continued transformation of us as we mature, as the Angel said to Mary, with God, all things are possible. Also as the apostle Paul wrote in Philippians, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. May your word and your Holy Spirit guide us today to LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

When you no longer know what to do, when you are lost, quiet yourself, calm your fears…and listen to your wonderful counselor speak to you and guide you! Hoping you enjoy this Christmas Season and not miss Jesus in this busy time.

He came for us, he lived a perfect life for us, he died for us, he rose from the grave to life for us, and now, if you believe, he gives us this life, freely to live, without condemnation. Because He lives, we can live forever.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus.

Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!

Israel, by sowing tears of repentance over sin, the nation reaped the harvest of a joyful return to the land of Israel. Lord, May we sow our own tears of repentance as a country, and as a church , that we may also reap the joy, of your forgiveness, and your lovingkindness. You are the God who, rejoices in our coming before you with a humble heart. (See link below for link, My Chain are Gone by Chris Tomlin)

Oh Lord, help us to remember that we are not to take on the job of the Holy Spirit. Our job is to speak the word in Love, to all. We are not to try and convict, but to explain your truth that has changed us. Our role is spiritual, not political. Government cannot save us, but Jesus can.

Transformed = Metamorphosis (This is a Process in our daily life. One day we will be completely transformed). See notes & video below!

transformed. The Gr. word, from which the Eng. word “metamorphosis” comes, connotes a change in outward appearance. Matthew uses the same word to describe the Transfiguration (Mt 17:2). Just as Christ briefly and in a limited way displayed outwardly His inner, divine nature and glory at the Transfiguration, Christians should outwardly manifest their inner, redeemed natures, not once, however, but daily (cf. 2Co 3:18; Eph 5:18). renewing of your mind. That kind of transformation can occur only as the Holy Spirit changes our thinking through consistent study and meditation of Scripture (Ps 119:11; cf. Col 1:28; 3:10, 16; Php 4:8). The renewed mind is one saturated with and controlled by the Word of God
