Jesus cares about us. One day, he will return, and take us to our eternal home. There will be no more tears, no more sickness, no more dying. Until then, we remain steadfast in hope and faith. Fully God, and fully man. Yet we have a friend in Jesus.

Jesus said, “for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.”

WITNESSES: People who tell the truth about Jesus Christ (cf. Jn 14:26; 1Pe 3:15). The Gr. word means “one who dies for his faith” because that was commonly the price of witnessing.
What Ark is God calling you to build, in Faith? We are never to Old, to step out in Faith. At 68, this still applies to me.

From John MacArthur Study Bible
The strength and courage of the warriors of Israel would come from their confidence that their God was with them and would not forsake them. In vv. 7, 8, Moses repeated the substance of his exhortation, this time addressing it specifically to Joshua in the presence of the people to encourage him and to remind the people that Joshua’s leadership was being assumed with the full approval of God.being assumed with the full approval of God.

18 But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until the full day.
It’s not IF, but WHEN we get weary. Our God will never leave us, or forsake us. He may not give us what we want, but will always give us what we need. Call on him him, and he will give us REST.

“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.”
