We live in a world, that seems to be crumbling around us. Our hope, both in the future and now, in this present darkness, is that we have a friend in Jesus, who has overcome the world. I want you to stop and think about this, with me for a minute. Jesus’s way, is not the world’s way. We are called to Love our enemies, not destroy and overcome, like the worldly view. We overcome with Love and Compassion, just as Jesus did. Think about an enemy, or someone you are at war (there is strife of some sort) with right now. Show compassion and love to them, but don’t do it to get something. Do it because that is how Jesus did it. The rest is not up to us. God Bless you today.

We seemed to have lost this, in the church. You don’t necessarily need to publicly, go on social media and tell the world, but you need close friends that you can trust and will hold you accountable. I’m not saying that social media is not a powerful tool to share, but you may want to have your closest friends, walk with you through it first. It takes a lot of courage, to bare your soul, to the whole world. Especially for those who don’t understand, but……How healing to those whose lives are forever changed, by your courageous obedience, to this verse, who may be also struggling with he same issue. Also, this verse is talking to believers in the church, and not to those who have never given their lives to Christ.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
