Father, fill us with your Spirit, and bind your Word on our hearts, that we may Love, the way you have Loved us.

But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Happy Valentiines Day, Everyone!

Don’t let anyone fool you, by false truth. We have been made new, and are being made into the image of God, everyday, as we seek his truth and walk in Jesus footsteps. How do we do it? For most people, it is one step at a time, day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute. For some, it is a giant leap. Whichever way, it is for you, may the Lord give you clear vision in 2020, as we all seek to share his Love, Grace & Mercy and share his Good News.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
2 Corinthians 5:17 NASB

The more we focus on his love for us, in spite of our imperfections, the more he fills us with his spirit, to Love others like he loves us. May we find someone to Love today, in spite of THEIR imperfections, and may it reflect back to Jesus` perfect love.

We love, because He first loved us.

You and I, need to really think hard and Long on this passage. This is not a suggestion, it IS a command. I want us to think about who our enemies might be. Take some time to pray about what it might look like to Love our enemies! If we want to change our city, our, county, our state, our nation, our world, what would it look like, to Love our enemies? I know it has to start with our own changed heart, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Grace of God, through Jesus. What will we do, how will we take action? It is certainly a great time of year, to do something! Would you agree? Praying our Christmas season of giving, will include our enemies. Have a Blessed day.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men.

May our hearts and thoughts be pure today, that God might reveal himself, in a special way. This not a selfish wish, but so that we might shine as lights to those around us, and Jesus might be reflected in the people we interact with today.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Matthew 5:8 NASB

Father, may we give sacrificialy this season, not so we might get praise from men, but so you might be well pleased with us, and our hearts, doing what is right, out of love.

But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

What a beautiful picture, of what the church should look like. May we, as brothers and sisters in Christ, exemplify this verse, imperfect as we are. May we display a glimpse of, one day what we will become, when we are perfected, in Heaven. A little bit of heaven on earth. This 😇 not 👹 during this holiday season. Let me hear fro you this week! What are you thankfull for? I am thankful for my family both immediate and church, for breath, for music, for you all, who put up with me. 😊 …..and last but not least, Jesus!

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
Matthew 6:19 NASB

There is no fear for those who are in Christ. There will be no punishment, because our sins have been forgiven. How great to be reminded of how blessed we are today. We have all sinned, but God sees us as pure, because of Jesus sacrifice that made us right, to all who believe in faith. If you don’t know Jesus, what are you waiting for? He stands ready to embrace you, if you will give your life to him. Have a blessed day today.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
1 John 4:18 NASB

Our hope is in life abundantly, both now and eternity. There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God, to those who have Faith. As I write this, there is a peace that I can only explain, by the peace that comes, from just meditating on this. Our God is soooooooo good. Have a Blessed Day and may you feel his love and peace, in spite of your circumstances.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1 NASB

We need to always remember, God Loved us, in spite of our faults. Shouldn’t we do the same to others, and share the Good News, that Jesus makes us whole and right before God, not because of what we’ve done, but because of what he had done. Taken our penalty, even though he did not deserve it. What true love!
