Deliverance in the past was nothing, compared to what the messiah would bring to Israel, as well as to the gentiles. Jew or Gentile, we can sing praises both now, and forever. Our Gods plan will not be stopped, by anything in heaven or on earth!

For those who have been praying, my brother-in-law, is in ICU, at the hospital. They seem to have stabilized him, but don’t know the status of his oxygen level yet. Than you for the prayers. He is a faithful roller of Jesus, and as I said above, God’s plan for him, will not be thwarted.
God will walk us through whatever comes our way.

It was a rough night. Woke up feeling weird, around 3 am. Checked my sugar and it was 80. That’s low for me. Struggled to go back to sleep, finally dozed off around 4am. Woke up to a text and almost turned my phone off. Looked instead and it was my sister in Iowa. My brother-in-law has COVID and has had severe symptoms with fever and fluid on his lungs. Now, his fever had shot up to 105. Started praying and pleading with God to show grace and mercy to him and Psalm 23 came to my mind as I asked God to intervene. Finally just got up at 5:45 and opened my Bible app and guess what Bible verse popped up. This one. This is not a me thing cause I prayed, but surly a God thing. As I opened the app, a text came in and my sister was saying the temperature has gone down. Praise God! I don’t know the outcome but God does. Please pray for him. His name is Kent. I never had a brother, but he is like one to me.
The widow and the Orphan. A beautiful demonstration of Gods love, to those who cannot give back, just as God did for us. Sacrificial love, is at the heart of what God did for us. He didn’t have to do it, he wanted to because he Loves us.

Pure and undefiled religion. James picks two synonymous adjectives to define the most spotless kind of religious faith—that which is measured by compassionate love (cf. Jn 13:35 ). orphans and widows. Those without parents or husbands were and are an especially needy segment of the church ( see notes on 1Ti 5:3 ; cf. Ex 22:22 ; Dt 14:28 , 29 ; Ps 68:5 ; Jer 7:6 , 7 ; 22:16 ; Ac 6:1–6 ). Since they are usually unable to reciprocate in any way, caring for them clearly demonstrates true, sacrificial, Christian love.
