Praise God, we have a friend in Jesus. We sin regularly, and he forgives regularly. There is nothing you can’t go before to confess. He already knows, anyway.

The Path is wide that leads to destruction, but the Gate is narrow, that leads to salvation. Enter the narrow gate. Jesus is waiting patiently, to embrace you.

All have fallen short, and must repent. There is no superiority, because some have suffered more than others for their sin. We cannot think that we are better, because calamity has not befallen us.

greater sinners. It was the belief of many that disaster and sudden death always signified divine displeasure over particular sins (cf. Job 4:7 ). Those who suffered in uncommon ways were therefore assumed to be guilty of some more severe immorality (cf. Jn 9:2 ). † 13:3 unless you repent. Jesus did not deny the connection between catastrophe and human evil, for all such afflictions ultimately stem from the curse of humanity’s fallenness ( Ge 3:17–19 ). Furthermore, specific calamities may indeed be the fruit of certain iniquities ( Pr 24:16 ). But Christ challenged the people’s notion that they were morally superior to those who suffered in such catastrophes. He called all to repent, for all were in danger of sudden destruction. No one is guaranteed time to prepare for death, so now is the time for repentance for all (cf. 2 Cor. 6:2 ). you will all likewise perish. These words prophetically warned of the approaching judgment of Israel, which culminated in the catastrophic destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. Thousands in Jerusalem were killed by the Romans. See note on Mt 23:36 .

A sobering thought, yet reason to rejoice. We have been given a pardon, and we can live with no chains to bind us. Though we may, and will still sin, we are freed. Our hope and faith in Jesus, is our sanctuary. Live life in his name, and you will be set free.

This is truly, the good news of the Gospel. This is truly the most wonderful gift ever given to man. It’s only a gift though, if you accept it.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever would believe in him, would have eternal life.

Thank you God for Jesus who takes our shame, and puts it on himself. We are blessed, and need to be reminded each and everyday, because each and every day the world tells us a different story.

Being a true leader is not elevating oneself above those serve you, but lowering yourself below those who you serve. Maybe for some it may come easy, but for me, it is a daily choice that I do not always choose correctly. Even so, my eyes, must continue to look at the one who is my perfect example.

I do not claim to understand fully, when I read Revelation. I wonder, sometimes if anyone can completely, but this I can see. Even though the tribulation will be a time of judgement, it will be a great time of redemption, to All tribes, races, and colors. It will not be a government, that save the nation’s and people’s, but the great shepherd, the Lamb of God, the son of God, his name is Jesus.
