We cannot deny our sin nature, as the false teachers did and do. We all fall short, yet by Jesus tremendous sacrifice on the cross, we are cleansed and walk in the light. To all those, who put their trust and faith in Jesus. He alone grants us the pathway to life.

I love this as it applies to a marriage of a husband and wife. This is Gods design for marriage. It is for a man and a woman. Certainly, it can be used in other applications as in friendships, work, roommates, and play that is not specific to gender. Specifically, God designed us to accomplish things together, but definitely for his Glory, not our personal gratification.

This is not saying that fools show wisdom in their silence, but that silence conceals their folly. It does show that foolishness is bound up in the heart of mankind, and that we should use discretion when we open our mouths. This was a difficult one to think through. Just as God said, this is my son, in whom I am well pleased, he is also pleased in us, his sons and daughters. We are adopted sons/daughters and when we trusted in Jesus for salvation, there is no judgement for those in Christ. We have been perfected in love. Is this not Good News? Let’s shout it from the mountaintops. Jesus is alive, and he sent his Holy Spirit to live inside of us, to those who believe.
