And how should we speak?

So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ.”
Ephesians 5:17-21 NASB1995
A prayer, for those who are persecuted.

Father, it only seems right to lift up the Ukrainian people as their country is being destroyed. Watch over them, as those who do evil to them, will face the judgement of God. Not only watch over them, but ALL, who have been unjustly persecuted for following in your ways, for doing what is right, before you. May your will, be done. May you change the hearts of those who have been deceived by their own self righteousness.
Our Hope is not in Earthly things (See notes below).

Our Hope is not in our local, regional, or international leaders, or our nation. Our Hope is in the one true God, who knows all things and his plan marches on, in spite of those who stand against him. His plan is to rescue all those who turn to Jesus, his son, that they might be restored to a right standing before him. For those who turn to him for their Hope, there is both blessing and forgiveness, for what is behind us.
