Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8 NASB
Category: Gospel
You won’t believe what is included in loving your neighbor. It’s something we easily like to forget.
“But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
Luke 6:27-28 NASB

Just remember…….WE were enemies of God before we understood the Gospel. He poured tremendous grace on us, even though we didn’t deserve it. As followers of Christ, should we not do the same?
Think about someone you may be at odds with in your life right now. Maybe your brother, sister, father, mother, daughter, son, best friend, etc. I want you to take a moment, and pray for them and your own heart right now. Continue to do this until God changes your heart. Maybe he will change theirs, but you have to worry about your own heart first.
May God’s grace be with you and may it flow to all those around you.
Blessings
Alan
Love conquers a multitude of sins.
Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:1-3 NASB
Where do you get your moral compass for directing you children?

If you set it on your own values, since you are an imperfect man or woman, you would be missing the target. Please consider Jesus as the person, to look at and the bible for you reference. You will not be sorry, and neither will your children.
Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6 NASB
Jesus shines a light on the powers of dark and evil. They cannot overcome his work. His brightness shines through the darkness and he does overcome the darkness.
The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 1:5 NASB
Who and what do you fear?

The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.

Dad, finally put to rest.
Yesterday, we put my father to rest. For me, I felt like he was at rest, the moment he passed, from this life to the next.
Culturally, back here, it is a big deal to look at the Shell of a body and find finality with the person’s death.
I don’t get it so much, but respect it. Definitely, the burial does make a lasting impression that he is gone.
Anyway, he joins quite a few family members, who leave a legacy of loving God and loving and serving people.
I will miss you Dad, in physical form, but your legacy and spirit will live FOREVER!
With Love

Who can reconcile the vast expanse of holiness, between God and ALL of Mankind?
For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.

What can we do? Nothing, but recognize the unfathomable gift of love, and fall at his feet and worship him.
