Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
Galatians 6:9 NASB
Category: Good Deeds
Our deeds are not because we are so good. It is an outpouring of our hearts, when we understand how good, God is to us. His Grace and Mercy should flow out of us, because we have been the benefactors of them.
Don’t be a noisy gong, or a clanging symbol. Our actions, must match our word’s (1st Cor 13)
Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.
1 John 3:18 NASB
Our Salvation comes from Faith, through Grace. Because of this, the Works overflow from us, through the Holy Spirits empowering. It is not in, and of, our own strength or power.
May our light shine today, that we may warn of danger ahead, but point the way to safety, through Jesus, just as a lighthouse is used to save Jesus. Amen. Please share your stories of how God used you for this today!

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:14-16 NASB
Is this not a beautiful picture, of what the church is supposed to be? Yesterday I said, Love covers a multitude of sins. Let us show Grace, as Grace has been fully given to us. May our hearts be forever changed by Jesus.
Are you bearing fruit or are you not? Are you a Christian, or are you just giving lip service that will not be acceptable?
If there is no fruit, you will be taken away. That is not a place you want to be. Pray that the Lord would help you fully see that you might produce fruit. If you are bearing fruit (true believers), the sin in your life will be pruned away, that you may produce more fruit! How great for those who believe, to have God help us, throw off the sins that hold us back. This is a process, that does not happen over night. May we hand over to God, those sins, so that we might not have to go through the painful process of pruning as much. Let us hope for and wait, for that day when we are called home, to be fully complete, lacking in nothing!
Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.
John 15:2 NASB
This is so difficult for me. It is only, through the eyes of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit, that I am able. Interestingly, this is not a suggestion, but a command! Start somewhere, and the Lord will help you grow in this. Remember, we were enemies of God, until we surrendered to Jesus, through the work of the cross. He loved us, before we could love him.
Every day is a new challenge, but every day we must pick up our cross, and follow Jesus. Let me know what that looks like for you today, or in the coming week. Let us encourage one another to Love and good deeds.
What is your experience with this promise? My wife and I have been blessed many times over by this promise, both of our time and money. Any thoughts or questions?
Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure-pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”
Luke 6:38 NASB
