Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and has Sat down at the right hand of the throne of God! Hebrews 12:21

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Let’s keep it simple. Jesus said, Love God, & Love People! Let me know how it goes for you today, or even if you were the recipient!

And He said to him, ” ‘ you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart , and with all your soul , and with all your mind .’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘ you shall love your neighbor as yourself .’

Just as we have been chosen by God, with the attributes in this verse, we should reflect, as image bearers, the same attributes, through the strength and power of his Holy Spirit. Oh how blessed we are, to have a God who Loves us, in spite of ourselves.

So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;

Shalom! May God grant you peace, through the power of the Holy Spirit, and through his Word, and through the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, today, and forever.

For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,

May we be used by God, to help rescue those, that will receive wrath, if they don’t turn (repent), from their sinful ways, and follow Jesus. For God, does not want anyone to perish, so he waits patiently, so that all might be saved.

He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

Don’t rely on the worlds things for your security. Instead, rely on Gods perfections, like faithfulness, power, mercy, and wisdom, to draw from. They will not let you down. He is the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow!

God’s words spoken through King David. Who can add to this!

Yours, O Lord , is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O Lord , and You exalt Yourself as head over all.
1 Chronicles 29:11 NASB

Beware of the legalism, that can so easily come upon us. God wants a changed heart, that compels us from within, to honor God, not some self righteous, me oriented, do good mentality that checks a box off. Jesus as God, showed us the Love, compassion and devotion to the Father, that he deserves, and we should desire. Thank you Jesus, for giving us your spirit, to help, and guide us, in our path.

For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice, And in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
Hosea 6:6 NASB

We live in a world, that seems to be crumbling around us. Our hope, both in the future and now, in this present darkness, is that we have a friend in Jesus, who has overcome the world. Because of his reconciliation of us, with God the Father, we can live life, without the bondage of sin, and the freedom to share the Good News, with with all who would listen. The book of 1 John, calls us overcomers! Can I get an Amen?

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

Prayer……..It changes Us, not God! He is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Our prayers are not meant to some recital, of the same thing, over and over, or thoughtlessly. It doesn’t mean that they can’t be persistent. God already knows, what we need, but sometimes as we bow before him, he reveals those desperate needs to us more clearly. May he speak to us, through his word and our meditation and prayers, today. I know he has to me, this morning. Thank you, Jesus.

“And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
