This passage ends with the word Selah. I always just passed this by, in the past. The idea, is NOT to just keep on, in this case singing, but to pause, and contemplate. OUR GOD THRU JESUS, HAS DELIVERED US FROM THE BONDAGE OF SIN. NOT THRU ANYTHING WE CAN DO, BU THROUGH THE WORK OF JESUS. WE ARE FREE, INDEED. MAY WE LIVE AS THOUGH WE BELIEVE THIS PROMISE.

In the book of Joshua, he says Do Not Fear. I go before you in the battle. I will give you the Victory. He has declared victory in Jesus, through his perfect life, his death and resurrection. May we see through lens of Jesus. May we have compassion on those who are broken, just as we are broken. May we take comfort in our Lord, who cares deeply for us, in this road that we travel. May Jesus name be lifted up, in spite of our weakness, since He makes the weak, strong.
