This is a beautiful reminder, that in our marriage, we are on display to be an example of how this works. Some days, better than others, but we are all a work in progress , until one day we will be completely perfected.

Father, in the business of life, help us always remember, that what we do, is in line with your plans, and not our own selfish pursuits. Forgive us, when we veer off, and guide us in your everlasting ways.

The Lord is my Shepherd……

bible.com/bible/100/zep.3.17.NASB1995

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul. Psalms 23:1-3a

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread? Psalms‬ ‭27:1‬

This is “Amazing Grace”

We have the ultimate shepherd, who never wavered, to sacrifice his very life,. He experienced what no God, should have to suffer, so that those who recognized, his substitutional sacrifice was for their own sins, would live with him forever. He was fully God and fully Man, and took on our punishment, that those who would believe this in faith, would live!

Even, in the smallest of things, may the Lord Bless Us, as we do it for his Glory, and not for our own. It is Jesus, who gave it all for us. May we do the same for him and others. God Bless you as you do it for him today and every day!

Who’s yoke do we take to find rest? We must be clear, it is JESUS who is speaking and it is upon HIM that we will lay our burdens. It is HE, where we will find rest. If you don’t know JESUS personally, please reach out. HE, is the path to LIFE, for those who believe! Can I get an Amen?

Read CAREFULLY. This does not say some people, it says ALL! Forgive me Lord, when I selectively choose who I Love and who I don’t. I would be in severe trouble if you did that to me. Give us your compassion for helping you restore lost souls through your son Jesus.

Golden Rule

bible.com/bible/100/mat.7.12.NASB1995

Note from Study Bible

Versions of the “Golden Rule” existed before Christ, in the rabbinic writings and even in Hinduism and Buddhism. All of them cast the rule as a negative command, such as Rabbi Hillel’s version, “What is hateful to yourself do not to someone else.” Jesus made it a positive command, enriching its meaning and underscoring that this one imperative aptly summarizes the whole gist of the ethical principles contained in the Law and the Prophets.

Our prayers are not for us to be seen, but for us and our hearts to be seen by God. It is not for us to receive Glory, but for him to receive Glory and Honor and Praise, and to petition him for his will ours needs? It’s not about us, but about him.
