Category: Glory
Give God all the Glory. It is not us that does the work, but his spirit. We do not elevate ourselves, but Jesus.
You are my Rock and my Redeemer, Oh Lord. Whether in good times, or bad, Blessed be the Name of the Lord. Fill us with your spirit Oh God, that we may see you work today.
Lord, may we your people, your church, be that beacon, that points those who can see to you. Not to us, but to your name, be the Glory!
Jesus, being fully God, and fully man, is the creator of all things. We are made in his image, to reflect his image and glory. Key word here is reflect. We always reflect it back to him. He receives the Glory, not us.

For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things have been created through Him and for Him.

Suddenly there was with the angel, a multitude of heavenly hosts saying…………

“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.”

Key point in this verse. We don’t do good, to bring attention to ourselves, but to God. The temptation is to make it all about ourselves, and that takes glory away from God. May out light shine bright, for HIS sake today and everyday.

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16 NASB

May we pour out our hearts and souls to you today, Lord. May we confess, our weaknesses and failures before you. May yourself to us in a mighty way, not for our own selfish desires, but for your Glory! Amen.

‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
Jeremiah 33:3 NASB

God’s words spoken through King David. Who can add to this!

Yours, O Lord , is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O Lord , and You exalt Yourself as head over all.
