Lord, may our hearts humbly bow before you, in persistent prayer. May we be alert, to the needs of others, so we might lift them up. Reveal yourself to us, through answered prayer, even though it may not be, what we wanted the outcome to be. May we always remember, that you care about us and love hearing our petitions.

Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving;

Lord, may you show us your greatness, in the little things we do, and the interactions we have, with others today. May you reveal to your greatness, that our hearts might be filled with joy, and proclaim your greatness to others. Amen.

For this reason You are great, O Lord God ; for there is none like You, and there is no God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

Thank you Lord, that we are wonderfully known by you.  May we use this for good, to allow us to be changed by you.  May we not withdraw from you, as we see our own sinfulness, but embrace your truth, that we are whole, by putting our faith and trust in Jesus. Amen!

Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.

Thank you Jesus, for revealing yourself, when even 2 or 3 gather together in your name.

In context, Christ was referring to discipline (training), for purposes of restorating a brother or sister from sin.  This could be used for fellowship or worship as well, that Christ would be there.
For where two or  have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”

Let’s not isolate ourselves!  It is not only lonely, but God says, it is better with two people.  Help us Lord, to remember that in our marriage, and in our friendships as well.  Both, are great biblical principles.

Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up.

This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

May you have a blessed day today, no matter what your circumstances might be!

Whether in abundance or in want, may we say, blessed be the name of the Lord.

Do you have someone in your life, that challenges you to, and models, being a follower of Jesus?  If not, seek them.  If so, who can you help?  That’s what we call discipleship…….
