You and I, need to really think hard and Long on this passage. This is not a suggestion, it IS a command. I want us to think about who our enemies might be. Take some time to pray about what it might look like to Love our enemies! If we want to change our city, our, county, our state, our nation, our world, what would it look like, to Love our enemies? I know it has to start with our own changed heart, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Grace of God, through Jesus. What will we do, how will we take action? It is certainly a great time of year, to do something! Would you agree? Praying our Christmas season of giving, will include our enemies. Have a Blessed day.

If you seek the truth, with all of your heart, you will find it. The truth is, that one day, God will come to judge the earth for all of mankind. Many will be found guilty, but for those who put their trust and faith in Jesus, even though we are guilty too, will be see as innocent, just like the baby Jesus. That is really good news. Beware of the legalism, that can so easily come upon us. God wants a changed heart, that compels us from within, to honor God, not some self righteous, me oriented, do good mentality that checks a box off. Jesus as God, showed us the Love, compassion and devotion to the Father, that he deserves, and we should desire. Thank you Jesus, for giving us your spirit, to help, and guide us, in our path.

We live in a world, that seems to be crumbling around us. Our hope, both in the future and now, in this present darkness, is that we have a friend in Jesus, who has overcome the world. Because of his reconciliation of us, with God the Father, we can live life, without the bondage of sin, and the freedom to share the Good News, with with all who would listen. The book of 1 John, calls us overcomers! Can I get an Amen?

One day at a time. This is hard for me, because I am always planning ahead. When things don’t go right, I get frustrated. Its OK to plan, but I need to remember, that each day, God reserves the right to change HIS plan (Important to remember, who’s plan it is). Also, thinking that each day is fully surrendering to God and the direction he needs us to take. Hope your direction is straight and true, in the path, that Jesus, would want you to walk.
