Praise God! We are right with God, because of what Jesus did for us, not because of anything, we can do to earn it. It is a free gift, to all who believe.
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1 NASB https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/rom.8.1/51190
To all my friends, He is Risen!
“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalms 46:10 NASB https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/psa.46.10/7404
The tears of repentance quickly lead to shouts of joy, from forgiveness. How Great is our God, that we should be shown, such Grace and Mercy. May we show the same, to those around us.
Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. Psalms 126:5 NASB https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.126.5.NASB
Jesus was a man, but also God. He came to fulfill prophecy, to and satisfy the need for a sacrifice for mankind’s brokenness. He gave his life so that we might live. This is good news and it is the Power of God, unto Salvation. I….Am….Not…Ashamed!!!
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 NASB https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/rom.1.16/52786
Living Waters – 4-9-2020
Father, I am yours today, to do your will. Help me, to be filled with your Spirit today, by praying and meditating on your word, so that I might not fall into temptation. Your word says, I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me. Father, please don’t let the distractions of this world keep me from remebering your death and resurrection, and loving those around me as you have so sacrificially loved me.
Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41 NASB https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/mat.26.41/51182
Jesus transitioned the Passover dinner, from looking forward to Messiah, to looking back to his coming, through remembering Jesus as the fulfillment of that promise! That is what he called the New Covenant.
And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood. Luke 22:20 NASB https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/luk.22.20/51176
We need to keep our eye on the crown, for persecution will come, as we live out our faith. Remember, Jesus said, take courage, I have overcome the world! May we be little overcommers today.
“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:10 NASB https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/mat.5.10/51183
Gentleness vs Abrasiveness
A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1 NASB https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/pro.15.1/588
God is revealing himself everyday around. Let us not become, so self absorbed in the world around us, that we miss him, and the comfort of his presence. May we not keep it for ourselves, but to share with those around us. God Bless You Today, in these Trying Times.
“Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley; Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 40:4-5 NASB https://bible.com/verse-of-the-day/isa.40.4-5/47780
