Whom do you serve, God or Man? Galatians 1:10 says you must choose one or the other.  There is no middle ground.

For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.

Our hope is in a great king (Jesus), who shows great mercy to his followers.

This worlds government can never save us!  We put out faith and trust in one who will build a Holy Nation, that will last for all of eternity.  His kingdom will never end (Is 9: 6-7).

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

So many to help show the way, but goes on to say this…..Jesus is the ultimate witness, and perfect example, of who we should keep our eyes on.  When we take ours eyes off the prize, how easily, our path can change!

Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
