Father, thank you for sending Jesus to rescue us. Even though, we still live in these sinful bodies, you see us as sinless, because of Jesus. May you fill us with your Spirit, and may you motivate us, to live a life of faith, knowing that if we stumble, you got our back!

Lord, may our hearts humbly bow before you, in persistent prayer. May we be alert, to the needs of others, so we might lift them up. Reveal yourself to us, through answered prayer, even though it may not be, what we wanted the outcome to be. May we always remember, that you care about us and love hearing our petitions.

Oh how this verse, would be devastating, if it weren’t for vs 24. Praise God for his wonderful gift, that we can receive freely. We are seen as sinless by the tremendous price Jesus paid on the cross, for all who believe.

The price……He gave his life! The value, a clean slate forever, to all who believe, with their hearts, and confess with their mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord. Let us shout it from the mountain tops today, an every day, that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God. Can I get an Amen, to those who believe?

God……became man, humbling himself, and being obedient to his calling, even unto death. He did this for all who would believe in Jesus, and his perfect sacrifice, that we could never offer up. Thank you Jesus, and may we Love, in a similar fashion, and tell all those, the good news!

The Tongue: Trusted ally, or a brutal enemy. Control it, and we might just change the world. Lose control of it, and it could well be our destruction. Lord, help us to use this piece of anatomy for your Glory. It seems, the war on words in this world has become, a weapon of MASS destruction! May the word’s of our mouths, and the meditation of our hearts, be pleasing unto your sight! Oh Lord.

Is there anything unclear about this? It’s no one, not just some people. It’s everyone, not just the people we like. Sound easy, not for me! Lord, may we rely on you word, and fill us with you Holy Spirit, that Jesus promised he would send, when he left. Forgive us when we fail, and help us not to grow weary, as we grow in our love for others.

Warning: This was a warning of Judgement to those who did not seek the Lord. The nation had fallen into pagan worship and idolatry. It had lead, them into many forms of unrighteousness, and God was saying to brace yourselves! Does any of this sound familiar? Let us confess our sins and turn from them. It’s all connected. What we fill our thoughts, and time, and life with, affect what comes out of our mouths. May we choose your word, your promises, your ways Lord, that our hearts might be filled with your Holy Spirit. May our word’s be word’s of hope, and love, and faith and encouragement.
