Actions……..have consequences. Whether in this world, or in a future life, which those of us who follow Jesus, believe in. Lord, may the word’s of our mouths, and the meditation of our heart, be acceptable to you. May your Spirit, guide us to love and good deeds, and may the harvest be plentiful, for bringing those in a lost and dying world, to put their trust in Jesus. Amen

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.

Father, thank you for the hope we have in Jesus. Thank you, that even though our bodies will fail us, that we will receive new ones, when we get to heaven. Help us run the race with endurance and enthusiasm until then. Amen

Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.

Please Lord, open the eyes of those who don’t believe, so that they will not be judged. Use us, as your instruments, to share the Good News, that Jesus saves, to all who believe in faith, and turn from their wicked ways. Amen

He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

If we are submitting to God (walking in obedience), then Satan and his minions, are defeated, and they will flee. This is not some macho thing, that we do on our own. We are victorious, because of Christ working us, and through his Holy Spirit. May we be filled today, and win many victories in the name of Jesus!

Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Man’s wisdom, will deceive. God’s wisdom, will keep us on the right track. It will also, see evil for what it is, a destroyer of truth. Choose reverance for God and he will help you turn from evil. Thank you Jesus, that you have overcome this world, and given us your helper, to guide us. Amen!

Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

We are not responsible for our children’s salvation, but we can live in a manner (both word’s and deeds), that points them in right direction, of the one who can. It will be something that they will never forget. This same principle is true, in pointing them straight to the pit of Hell. Think about it. If you have not made a commitment to follow Jesus, then which way are you pointing them?

Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.
PROVERBS 22:6 NASB

Lord, thank you for your word, that is sufficient for all of life. Your word comes to man, from a holy God. Man’s own words, comes from a corrupted heart, that can deceive. Help us to choose your truth, every day, and not the world’s deceptive wisdom, based on our own selfish desires.

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Who will you serve? There are many things we can spend our time on or with, but only one will have an eternal value. Thank you Jesus, that you are the way, the truth, and life. No one comes to the Father, except through you. May we all find the hope and the blessing of Jesus today in what we say, and what we do, as we live our lives!

If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord , choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord .”

Happy Mothers Day, to all you mothers out there! Lord may we remember them well, whether in the present, or even if they have past. They are a blessing from the Lord.

“As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; And you will be comforted in Jerusalem.”
