Suddenly there was with the angel, a multitude of heavenly hosts saying…………

“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.”

They ask for a sign, but they still don’t believe. About 750 years before Jesus birth, God gives the Prophet Isaiah these word’s. May the Holy Spirit convict your heart today, that you might believe in someone who lives today, through his Holy Spirit. This is the true spirit of Christmas!

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.

Key point in this verse. We don’t do good, to bring attention to ourselves, but to God. The temptation is to make it all about ourselves, and that takes glory away from God. May out light shine bright, for HIS sake today and everyday.

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Our victory is not in how we look, what we accomplish, how much we make, where we live, in our children, what we do……We do, because our victory is in Jesus!

but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us all Remember…. Our spouse is not our enemy, our kids, our parents, our boss, etc. There is a spiritual battle that rages on daily, that is a good reminded of so we can pray for those people. Just remember, Jesus said not to fear it, because he has overcome the world. The ultimate victory has been won, but the daily battles, will continue till Jesus comes, or he takes us home.

Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,

Are you in despair and struggling through something? Have you lost hope, are you going through the valley of the shadow of death? Fear not and do not lose hope. Open your bible and read the whole Psalm. See how the Psalmist, talks to God and himself as he struggles through this difficult time. You are not alone. This life is full of trials that will either break you, or draw you closet to God. I pray it is the latter for you you today. Please feel free to share you requests for prayer, or your praises in the midst of your trials. Would love to lift you up in prayer, or sing praise of joy with you. God Bless.

Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God— soon I’ll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He’s my God.

The more we focus on his love for us, in spite of our imperfections, the more he fills us with his spirit, to Love others like he loves us. May we find someone to Love today, in spite of THEIR imperfections, and may it reflect back to Jesus` perfect love.

We love, because He first loved us.

Jesus said this……do you believe? May your day be filled with the light of Jesus today, no matter, what the circumstances are. May he fill you with his presence, this Holiday season, and may the joy of Christmas, fill your heart. (Love came down – 1 Cor 13)

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
John 8:12 NASB

You and I, need to really think hard and Long on this passage. This is not a suggestion, it IS a command. I want us to think about who our enemies might be. Take some time to pray about what it might look like to Love our enemies! If we want to change our city, our, county, our state, our nation, our world, what would it look like, to Love our enemies? I know it has to start with our own changed heart, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Grace of God, through Jesus. What will we do, how will we take action? It is certainly a great time of year, to do something! Would you agree? Praying our Christmas season of giving, will include our enemies. Have a Blessed day.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men.
