I wonder if Isaiah might have been thinking, about King David. David wrote in Psalm 23, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. They rod and and thy staff they comfort me.

We will have struggles on this life, but remember this. If you believe in Jesus, we can live victoriously. He has also given us his Holy Spirit, to guide us and direct us through these perilous times.

We must stop trying to earn Grace. We must rest in the freedom that we have in Christ and be a light and hope in the darkness. May we each, draw those that are in the dark, that we may point them to the eternal light that will never grow dim. Stop striving and believe in Jesus for your hope and salvation. He will not disappoint you and he will take on your heavy loads.
