May we be overjoyed daily, of this promised king, fulfilled that day, when our Lord came to earth, to give life, to those who believed in Gods promise of a messiah and king. HE Reigns.

Thy Kingdom come, thy Will be Done. “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:6‬

Spoken to Mary, the Mother of of Jesus, the Son of God, by the Messenger of God! Do you believe?

bible.com/bible/100/luk.1.35.NASB1995

“Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the descendants of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And coming in, he said to her, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.” But she was very perplexed at this statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation this was. The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.” Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I am a virgin?” The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God. And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month. For nothing will be impossible with God.” And Mary said, “Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.”

Do you read this verse rejoice sometimes vs always. It’s easy to apply this verse when things are good, but the Apostle Paul clearly makes clear, earlier in the book of Philippians, that our circumstances should not dictate our joy. How are you doing with this today? Can I pray for you, for something? Better yet, let your request be made known to God, but please reach for joy, no matter what!

I wait for you Lord My soul waits, I wait for you Lord. In your word I place my trust In your word I rest. In your word I place my trust For I know I must wait. ( Jeremy Camp)

“At that time the disciples came to Jesus and said, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
