God sees us as perfect, because of Jesus, not because of our failures or successes. The apostle Paul says “we are forgetting what lies behind, but looking ahead! I press on toward the goal for the prize, of the upward call of God, in Christ Jesus”, Phil 3:13b and 14. (My life verse is Phil 3:14.)
